Therapy for Anxiety, Relationships, and Life Transitions.

Shannon Lopynski

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Shannon Lopynski, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

Driven by a deep curiosity about mental health and a desire to better understand my own life transitions, I was drawn to this work long before I ever sat in the therapist’s chair. I know how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help, and I approach each client with empathy, warmth, and respect.

I specialize in working with adults in their 20s and 30s navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the often overwhelming pressure to “have it all figured out.” My style is warm, compassionate, and direct. I create a space where you feel supported while also being gently challenged to explore patterns — like people-pleasing or self-doubt — that may be keeping you stuck.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), blending talk therapy with mindfulness and somatic practices to help you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and build a deeper sense of presence.

I can’t wait to meet you!

Outside of Sessions:

Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me practicing yoga, spending time in nature - whether that’s gardening in the sunshine, hiking or curled up with a good book. I love to learn, explore new places, and try new things. Traveling and experiencing different cultures brings me joy, especially when it involves sharing yummy food with family and friends. I find a lot of meaning in the simple moments in life.

I specialize in…

Anxiety

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or like you’re not enough? Anxiety can show up in many ways and affect how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the future. Therapy offers a space to better understand your anxiety, feel more grounded, and navigate life with more ease and self-trust.

Relationships

Whether you're healing from a break-up, navigating conflict, or wanting to feel more confident in how you show up with others, relationship therapy can help. Learn how to build healthier connections - starting with the one you have with yourself (the most important relationship).

Life Transitions

Change (whether expected or not) can feel overwhelming. From heading off to college to moving states, navigating breakups, job changes or adjusting to a major life shift, therapy offers a grounded space to process change, reconnect with your values, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
